My first project outside my home was a beautiful log cabin located near Glenmorris, Ontario. I designed the planting scheme and schooled the home owner on characteristics of appropriate plants. Three years later the garden is gorgeous.

My garden located in the heart of Brantford speaks for my experience and style. Many local residents come for amazing home grown plants, a tour of the gardens and advice on their own gardens. I was often asked for advice on plants appropriate for different locations or a specific look for area home owners, from there started my business.

I specialize in butterfly gardening and by extension hummingbirds. I practice water-wise gardening. I do not advocate chemical usage but encourage companion gardening and proper composting techniques.

I work with the home owner to find out what look or feel they want for the garden before I design. I then implement the plan. I will return to maintain your gardens freeing up your time to enjoy those precious spare moments.

On a small scale we husband Monarch butterflies. We have extensive plantings to encourage all butterflies but our favorite will remain the Monarch. Of the 43 available butterfly flowers we have 38. We restrict the last 5 because they can be somewhat invasive in a smaller garden. Our favorite summer pastime is observing the life cycle of the butterflies.
